So… the waiting is over, the announcements have been made! Who are the Top Companies for Customer Service in 2013?? Drum roll…
After the analysis of thousands of mystery shopping surveys – across calls, email and webchats – we were thrilled to learn that Dignity Caring Funeral Services took top position for Calls for the second year running – an amazing achievement. Knowing the Top 50 data and the quality of the companies that enter as well as I do, I realise what a huge achievement this is for Dignity. A very well deserved win – the team’s relentless focus on delivering excellence for their customers has been recognised yet again by the industry. We, at Cape, wish all at Dignity Caring Funeral Services every success for 2014 and beyond!

Photobox, who had a huge improvement in their score and position in both calls and emails, coming 1st among E-Retailers in calls and 10th overall in emails. Having worked with them over the past couple of years it has been gratifying to see their dedication to driving improvements in customer service being recognised at this prestigious event.
RBS took 1st place for ‘Extra Large Call Centres’: it’s a tough category, with some very strong contenders but RBS shone through with their very clear and unequivocal commitment to customer service. Well done to the team at RBS who worked tirelessly this year on raising their standards in a tough business climate in their sector, they did remarkably well.
So that’s it, the award ceremony is over for another year and all the celebratory champagne has been drunk, it was a great night and I would like to thank our hosts at UBM for their tireless work in producing such a great event. I look forward to the feedback and improvement sessions that I will be holding with each of the Top 50 member companies that want to meet me over the coming months.
